Please donate any used school uniform you have (in good condition) for re-use.

Please leave in Reception on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning only.

Last term the PTA funded a theatre company to come into school and perform The Secret Garden for Years 1 to 6 and the Mad Hatter visit for Reception.

This term the PTA intends to fund a whole school trip, Jubilee mementos for each of the children, hoodies for all of Year 6 and a leavers’ gift for any mid-school leavers. It will also fund a welcome teddy-bear for those joining Reception next September and a soft parrot for those joining Nursery.

The PTA has agreed to help fund school trips for next academic year, as well as a whole school pantomime trip at Christmas.

Ainlie is now looking for volunteers for the Summer Fair, so please look out for this on the Facebook page. Even if you can’t help on the day, we need some crafty parents or carers to help design/make some new games for the children. So please speak to or message Ainslie.

I am going to step-down as chairman at the end of this term, so we are still looking for someone or two to take over this role. There is an amazing group of parents who each run different fund-raisers, so it is just a case of pulling those strands together. You don’t need to know everyone’s names (I didn’t when I took over), but it is a great way to meet other parents. You also don’t need to be at each event and we normally only have one meeting a term. So if you don’t mind chatting at the school-gate and sending out emails you are more than ideal for the position!! Please speak to me (Jo Farrant) or Mrs Mellor or email me on

Kind regards
