RIAT STEM Competition

We are very proud of our two Year 5 children who attended the RIAT STEM finals and won! They were competing against schools from Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucester at the RIAT event and after many rounds, their wind-powered car came up top! Well Done!

Maths Puzzle Day

Each term we hold a special problem solving day. Children are set reasoning puzzles and problems that require them to work together, use concrete apparatus, visual representations and verbal reasoning to explain their thinking.

The children really enjoy sharing their ideas, thinking mathematically and building their resilience because, as we all know, the joy and  discovery is in how we overcome the things we find tricky and how we correct our mistakes.

PGL 2024

In May, Year 5 and 6 went on a residential trip to PGL Osmington Bay. We challenged ourselves with lots of new activities including abseiling, archery, rifle shooting, trapeze and kayaking. We even went on a giant swing!
