Term 5 2021-22

We made pictures of The Queen using crayons, paint and collage. We think she would like them!

We each wrote a letter to The Queen. Here is Abigail's.

We are very proud of our Queen portraits.

To celebrate the Jubilee we had a fantastic dance session where we learnt a routine. This is the end move.

This week we are celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

We are really pleased with our birds!

We had a visit from Sonja from Oxfordshire Museums Service linked to our History topic How Seaside Holidays have Changed. She brought in cameras, costumes, penny licks for ice creams and other artefacts. We looked at old photographs and discussed all we know about seaside holidays over the past 100 years. It was very interesting. We like History!

This week we used pastels to draw feathers.

We used charcoal to draw feathers. We enjoyed using techniques we have used before and we are pleased with our work.

We drew feathers. First we looked closely at them then we tried different techniques when drawing and shading.
